Faculty of Information Technology, the first ever faculty of this kind in the SriLanka state university system, was established in June 2001. I am currently following my B.Sc. here and I feel it is a really nice place to be. This is a place where you would find great friendships and guys and girls. I feel if you are interested in IT field it is really nice to be here.
Information Technology is kind of a field where you would have to work on your own a lot to be a professional but here you would find friends who are greatly talented but with nice ability to work with groups as well as on their own. Even though, I am not quite satisfied with the some of the management issues that the faculty is taking I feel this is a nice place to do your higher education as far as you are having a great set of friends among you.
Oh Tharindu I didnt expect you to write such a thing in your blog. Yes IT is an interesting subject area I agree but you have boasted about the faculty a lot. And you have tried to hide the grotesque nudity of it.

I know this place is a holy shit because of some of our lectures who think this place as their own property. But you know we can’t change them and their attitudes and you know what happened to our GPA and Results when we started to do something against that. I mentioned about our faculty as a nice place because of the friends I met here not the lecturers. I suggest you to keep up with your studies and stay with us while doing your other work.
